HR Manager, People Analytics Job Duties:
The HR Manager, People Analytics provides support to the HR team across all office locations and reports to the Human Resources Director. As the HR Manager, People Analytics you will assume responsibility for managing our HR data, metrics and insights, and helping to continue to scale the organization. Most of your time will be dedicated to People Analytics, but the role will also include HR process oversight, evaluation and implementing automated solutions. To be successful in this role, you need strong quantitative skills, including experience with HR/organizational people data and HR generalist experience. Further, this role requires strong communication skills and the ability to communicate the analysis and implications to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an HR advisor to employees and managers in the areas of performance management, engagement and communication
- Resolve routine HR questions and escalate as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion on all matters
- Drive analytics and reporting strategy for people data
- Design people metrics reporting and creation of materials for the HR Leadership, Inclusion & Diversity and Executive Teams, identifying key trends behind people data and actionable insights
- Help to craft the data governance requirements
- Create dashboards to support all areas of People Operations
- Work with agency leaders and the expanded HR teams to understand the implications of the data and actions that need to be taken
- Partner with HR team (HR, Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Diversity) to understand their business
- Help frame analytics problems to solve and formulate projects to meet stakeholder needs
- Extract data from multiple sources and systems and distill into a digestible format, including dashboards, with actionable insights
- Synthesize requirements from non-technical stakeholders in day-to-day communications as well as in presentations
- Facilitate the deployment of workforce analytics methodologies used to drive key business decisions
- Remain current on strategic workforce management tools, techniques, strategies and practices to provide effective and efficient consultative advice internal stakeholders
- Provide thought leadership on how to use advanced statistics and machine learning in people analytics to drive meaningful improvement within the organization
Skills:
- Advanced skills in MS Office/Google, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with UltiPro, Tableau, Lever and Qualtrics platforms and tools
- Self-starter, who is comfortable diving in and proactively identifying solutions
- Expertise in developing and automating dashboards and key metrics
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organization
- Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
The HR Manager Role Requires:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
- Five or more years of experience with a combination of HR data and generalist work
- Knowledge of general HR services and recruiting
- Must be friendly and outgoing with customer service acumen
- Enjoyment of a fast-paced, dynamic, challenging and team-oriented work environment
- Ambition, proactiveness and self-motivation
- Good project management skills and ability to multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
