Job description

Our local client is looking for CURRENT LOCAL, but will consider candidates that would relocate for DAY 1 candidates for a LONG TERM contract. They are looking to bring on a Solutions Architect/Technical BA until the middle of 2023! They do HAVE to be onsite for five days a week. Great opportunity for contract stability!

Job: System architect/Technical Business Analyst

This is part of the core transformation project. Someone who can help dive into each of the 70+ integrations and decipher what the requirements are between the old and new Fiserv platforms. Need a tech background and understand the business side. Dive in and understand how things are working and how they will work in the future.

APIs are the most critical aspect of the job as this person will drive what APIs are used for each integration (could be several APIs). Banking/financial experience is a nice to have but not critical.

MUST have API experience. In office is a must! This is a replacement for a person who was hired but didn't want to be in the office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review & understand requirements for the core business solutions to define logical & detailed arch. diagrams, define API requirements, identify optimal solutions, and recommend improvements to the solutions & integrations.
• Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate core business solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options.
• Translate detail level requirements into request/response structure for APIs, scripting for batch processing, and other coding specifications as needed.
• Translate high level business needs into well-defined requirements including features, epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
• Understand & analyze existing data in business applications to help make informed decisions on business needs and value of features.
• Work with development teams following Agile Scrum processes to clearly articulate project goals and needs, define/design solutions, estimate project and features, and plan work into sprints.
• Work with Testing coordinator to ensure program covers all relevant areas and addresses technical gaps.
• Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refines priorities, outlines use cases and deliverables, and identifies

Core Activities:

• Assist Integrations Lead on high level design for 70+/- integrations
• Architecture for Person Centric and Account Number changes
• Translation between technical teams and business teams on API specifications based on changes brought by Core program (e.g. member number is used in many APIs and when member/acct numbers change, what does this mean for API builds, etc.).
• Develop strategy for environment setup and management (e.g. ensuring every 3rd party integration has appropriate environments for testing, development, deployment, etc.)
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications (for API teams, etc.)
• Network connectivity for all environments (TEST, PROD, etc.)
• Capture UX Design and Dev requirements for internal development
• Develop architectural solution for system consolidations, routing number consolidation, etc.
• Technical representation in 3rd party solution selection & gap analysis (i.e., 3rd party solutions vs. DNA native functionality).
