Reporting to the Marketing Technology & Optimization Manager, the Front-End Web developer will be responsible for working with other developers, designers, and SEO specialists to help deliver the best web experience for all site visitors. Working in a brand team environment, the Front-End Web developer will collaborate, develop, and take ownership of the code they produce.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build, maintain, and update all company websites, microsites, and other digital properties.
• Front-end web development across all digital properties, using the latest coding languages and marketing automation technologies.
• Build engaging and interactive web pages that are optimized to be mobile responsive, ADA compliant, and SEO friendly while working with design to ensure optimal site design and flow.
• Script user functionality & bring designs to life using responsive HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
• Develop new user-facing features.
• Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Model the Company's Vision and Values.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

What You Should Have

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GatsbyJS, React.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Strong Experience in developing rich client functionality with good knowledge of JavaScript.
• Excellent cross-browser layout skills and experience of the full web technology stack.
• Passion for developing, releasing, and maintaining large-scale web applications.
• Experience in usability/interface design, UI/UX knowledge for mobile and tablet is a must.
• Experience working with GIT and source/version control.
• Personable and approachable, with an enthusiastic and motivational nature.
• Innovative and creative, with a precise approach to problem solving.
• Be creative, innovative, and comfortable working with a team.
• Be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, stay organized, and meet deadlines.

You will stand out as a candidate if you have:

• 3-5 years' experience working in front-end development or related field.
• Experience working with a Headless CMS and GatsbyJS.
• Degrees, certifications, relevant education, and/or trainings.
