Responsibilities

The HR Business Partner at Spirit is a forward facing member of the team, embedded within a business organization. This position will work to build strong relationships alongside employees and leaders to meet strategic goals of the organization and company.

Responsibilities:

* Provide HR support to the leadership teams of multiple business units within Spirit
* Aligns HR activities with the organizational strategy
* Consults with first level management, providing HR guidance when appropriate
* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues in partnership with HR, Ethics and Compliance, leadership and labor unions
* Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
* Works closely with management, labor unions and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
* Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
* Collaborates with HR COEs to implement HR programs to meet HR objectives

Qualifications

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree plus 6-9 years of experience or MBA with 4-7 years of experience
* Verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to build relationships across multiple levels of an organization
* Intellectual curiosity and empathy
* Organizational skills and attention to detail
* Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Preferred qualifications:

* SHRM CP and/ or HRCI PHR certification
* Change management
* Labor relations experience
* Leadership development
