Job Description

The Controls Engineer will design, build, and troubleshoot electrical control systems for machinery and equipment that manufacture best-in-class and tech-forward vehicles. As a Controls Engineer you'll be applying your technical expertise to the powerhouse behind GM's profitability through the delivery of exceptional vehicles that inspire customer loyalty.

Duties include implementing standards and procedures plus coordinating machine control modification needs with engineering and maintenance. Typical duties include developing, debugging, and troubleshooting control logic programs along with other related functions.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience/training.
Controls experience in manufacturing environment
PLC experience with ladder logic, and schematics
Mechatronics degree or training a benefit.
Preferred Skills

4+ years Controls experience in manufacturing environment
2+ years of PLC work experience
General knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is helpful.
Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley and GE Fanuc hardware/software a plus.
