Job description
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
- Identify, solicit and source direct loans and sales finance.
- Telephone and field-call delinquent accounts with a major emphasis on those accounts more than 30 days past due.
- Develop and maintain good dealer relationships.
- Source new dealers.
- Assist with training and coaching the Customer Service Representatives on their assigned job functions.
- Make proper credit decision up to the credit limit established by the Branch Manager and District Supervisor.
- Forward loan approval recommendations to the Branch Manager when applicable.
- Know and adhere to all policies in the First Financial Credit Operations Manual, as well as all governing local, state and federal regulations and laws - and be responsible to monitor all employees to make sure they are also in compliance.
- Be able to handle customer insurance claims.
- Be capable of closing direct loans at the Manger's request.
- Be able to effectively perform any and all office duties under the direct chain of command to include Lending and Collections Specialist and Customer Service Representative.
- Telephone and field call delinquent accounts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position only has supervisory responsibilities during the absence of the Branch Manager.

- Ability to look at a computer screen for long periods of time.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time. An example would include sitting at a desk to complete and review loan applications.
- Ability to stand at a counter to assist a customer, stoop or bend to pick up an object or retrieve a file from a filing cabinet, or lift and carry an object which may weigh up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity through typing on a keyboard, sorting through paperwork, reaching and grabbing objects and filing.

- High School Diploma or the equivalent.
- One (1) year experience in a consumer finance company or lending environment is preferred.
- May be required to attend activities outside the office to stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
