ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Works with Supervisors and Managers to identify staff vacancies.
- Assists in recruitment activities for all hourly, non-exempt, and exempt positions.
- Assists in new hire orientation/on-boarding process to foster positive attitude toward the organization.
- Administers all benefit programs and provides associate assistance with claims issues.
- Ensures compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws.
- Takes necessary employment measures to ensure the company remains a union-free work environment: handling complaints, monitoring policies, etc.
- Oversees the administration of TAP/TMM benefit programs
- Review and approve payroll in Human Resources Manager's absence
- Assists in Human Resources support for TAP/TMM-USA, Inc.
- Assists in managing employee relations by way of investigations, disciplinary action and terminations including formal documentation.
- Assists in coaching and mentoring team members to perform well in their positions.
- Assist in kaizen activities for the Human Resources department and its processes.
- Deliver professional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Assist in the maintenance of the company's personnel records.
- Performs various clerical duties as necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree with appropriate work experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- A minimum of three (3) years Human Resources experience.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to speak to large crowds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledgeable of current trends and practices of human resources administration (Ex. Performance Management, FMLA Administration, ADAAA, Discrimination & Harassment Investigation, etc.)
- Ability to carry out assigned projects and oversee projects to their completion.
- Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.
- A professional understanding of confidentiality is required due to the sensitive nature of certain communications with the organization.
- Proficient with Payroll Software.
- Working knowledge of English.
PREFERRED ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- ADP/UKG/Kronos experience is a plus.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES
- None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regularly required to sit for long periods of a time, stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 20-30 lbs.
- Required to be able to read documents and computer screens.
- Available for occasional travel
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Exposure to plant manufacturing environment as job duties require.
- Usual office environment.

- Minimum 40 hour work week is expected
- Overtime is regularly required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,829.00 - $55,000.00 per year
