A Limestone Bank Relationship Banker is responsible for delivering an exceptional in-branch customer experience. The Relationship Banker serves as a single point of contact in fulfilling customer's needs, both sales and service. A Relationship Banker must have the ability to engage with a customer to build and provide superior and quality customer service while assisting customers in choosing the best accounts to fit their needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Opening new consumer and business accounts with the ability to correctly identify customers through following procedures and use of applications/tools such as:
- Acquiring appropriate forms of identification as defined in the Bank's CIP Policy
- Verify Chexsystems / OFAC / TIN matching / Qualifile
- Maintains exceptional knowledge of all products and services with the ability to use knowledge to fulfill customer needs through a consultative account opening process
- Exceptional knowledge of CD rates and regulations.
- Provide efficient teller and vault duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. This includes but is not limited to processing:
- Deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, etc.
- Contributes to the overall success of the Branch by meeting defined goals and expectations for sales and service.
- Responsible for providing an exceptional in branch customer experience
- Actively promote bank products and services to current and prospective customers
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of all methods of Banking with Limestone Bank including in person banking, Online and Mobile Banking, ATM's and iTalk
- Assist in the sales training of branch staff.
- Actively monitors activity of all new accounts to ensure all cross sales have been properly activated and on-boarding is followed and complete
- Act with confidence answering customer questions, performing account maintenance, and owning customer issues.
- Consistently lead outbound customer prospecting efforts for Branch by conducting outside business calling on current and prospective business clients
- Proactively seek opportunities to refer Customers to Business Partners, including but not limited to:
- Loans
- Treasury Management
- Merchant Processing
- Work with the Customer Service Manager and Banking Center Manager to do your part in achieving operational excellence.
- Administrative duties including but not limited to debit card creation, wire transfer requests, account closures, check ordering for new and existing customers, account maintenance and paperwork associated with these duties.
- Attend all meetings and sales trainings as required by Limestone Bank.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- Minimum one year in community banking and financial service industry.
- Minimum one year of experience working in a strong sales environment.
Competencies:
- Demonstrated sales, business development and relationship management experience.
- Proficient PC experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of financial industry core processing systems.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Must be available to work weekends. Work schedule may be adjusted from time to time to accommodate needed coverage due to vacations, holidays, staff shortages and illness.
- Proven excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid problem solving skills.
