Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for a 2 nd Shift Chemistry Lab Supervisor in Owensboro, KY. Relocation assistance is offered!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Sr Manager of Analytical Sciences
• Lead from the bench
• Coordinate daily lab activities such as ensuring workflow and assigning duties to personnel so that results are delivered within customer specifications and according to ISO standards
• Conduct daily routine analyses for both internal and external samples
• Provide technical support to lab personnel such as training, coaching, assisting, and troubleshooting/repairs
• Support development and validation of new methods
• Perform yearly personnel plan evaluations
• Other duties as requested

You would be a great fit if you meet the following qualifications:

• BS in Chemistry, Biology, or closely related science discipline
• Must have ~5 years of Chromatography experience (LC, GC, IEC) within an ISO/GMP regulated environment
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
• Above average communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work Monday - Friday ~4:00pm - 12:30am

Salary will range between $70k - $75k with above average benefits such as 12 company holidays, 3 weeks PTO (with option to purchase another week after 1 year of service), excellent 401k program, profit sharing, and paid leave/adoption assistance for new parents in addition to health benefits.
