Overview:
Our Client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, has an immediate need for a Business Analyst. The position is located in Lexington, KY but is hybrid.
This is a full time permanent position. Ideal candidates must have 2+ years of analytics experience in the area of sales, sales finance/operations or channel partner.

Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for the analysis and insight building to drive the performance and execution for the eMarketplace Division. The BA will build a sustainable platform and processes for the Division to build actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and good decision making. The BA will be responsible for leveraging data driven models of consumer and category trends, as well as, competitive analysis to grow brand value and drive continued optimization and preference to our products. The BA will be responsible for creating valuable linkage and functional discipline to understand marketing and product levers and maximize learnings to be leveraged across the eMarketplace Division.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:

Overall responsibility for providing in-depth and advanced analytical support, driving partner focused projects to improve sales, partner operations, ease of doing business, and productivity improvements. Specific responsibilities will include:

Analytical support as part of program tracking, business reviews, opportunity analysis and providing analysis and recommendations for actions within the team.

Take complex data and display it in a way that is easily comprehended and trackable.

Develop foundational knowledge to be predictive through real-time intelligence, by platform, through extraction of relevant data within available resources.

Drive action based on the learning, in partnership with the business manager, to drive growth by regularly reviewing business, key drivers, and identify issues/opportunities.

Use knowledge of the company's systems, to extract data, identify key insights and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.

Conduct analyses and scrub data to provide reliable information for periodic and ad-hoc reporting.

Drives improvements and productivity enhancements to both internal and external relationship management.

Monthly travel to plants and vendors will be necessary.

Qualifications:
Technical Skills

Analytics in sales, sales/finance or channel partner -2+ years

Power BI or comparable tool - 2+ years

Excellent communication, ability to tell a story

Able to travel twice per month on overnight trips

Education:

BA/BA in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field required
