Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR Business Partner support to the SOF GLSS Operations program at the Lexington, KY facility and a requisite offsite location where travel is required monthly of up to 2 (two) days per trip.
The role is accountable for all components of HR including but not limited to performance management, talent management, workforce planning (recruitment, retention, and development), staffing, learning and development, career counseling, compensation and rewards/recognition, leading positive employee relations strategies, and all other HR functional disciplines.
The successful candidate will have an established ability to gain the trust and respect of management and employees while pursuing positive organizational goals and objectives. The position will drive a partnership between HR and the business to foster a positive and fulfilling work environment. Also, position will be responsible for advising management on application and administration of various company policies. It requires a self-starter who is capable of defining and analyzing short and long range planning concerns and developing solutions related to employees, processes, systems and organizations. The individual will need to be comfortable providing coaching to front-line Leaders to execute against versus taking the action on a Leader's behalf.
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills while interfacing with various levels of LM personnel, government agencies and the general public. The ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast paced environment with effective time management skills are required. While functioning on both a strategic and tactical level this individual will be a part of an overall SOF Operations HR team that supports the Production Operations team.
While the position is set to be Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or equivalent discipline
- Demonstrated sound Human Resources acumen in HRBP role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Track record of successful performance in relevant assignments
- Ability to multi-task with a high degree of versatility and flexibility
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Ability to prioritize and produce superior results under deadline pressure
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to analyze and develop solutions to complex, multi-dimensional problems related to employees, processes, systems and organizations.
- Ability to support monthly business travel which requires overnight stay
- Experience in utilizing Microsoft Suite
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of Lockheed Martin
-Experience in a services-based business environment
-Familiar with Lockheed Martin systems and databases
-Prior related assignments in Labor Relations or non-exempt environment
-Familiarity with Service Contract Act and wage determinations; knowledge of federal and state labor laws
-Experience in BOX, Confluence and Slack
-Master's degree in HR, business or related field.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
