POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The Business Analyst is responsible for leading the efforts in collecting, analyzing, verifying, and communicating requirements for approved projects to the business owners and project team members. This position will need to be able to quickly immerse themselves into processes so that they can have a thorough understanding of current processes, what is required, provide input, and translate the result into sound functional documentation. This position will be the critical conduit between business owners, and technical staff. Additionally, this position will be required to assist in planning, scheduling, and general project tracking activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree, BA Related Certifications or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum five (5) years information technology experience preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in business analysis, systems installation, implementations, development, and/or quality assurance preferred.
• Two years management experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Project Management CAPM or PMP Certification preferred.
• Successful completion of Business Analysis CCBA or CBAP Certification preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Business Analysis Knowledge Areas; basic understanding of system design concepts; knowledge of software usability principles, understanding of testing principles and processes; ability to write and review test cases.
• Strong MS Office skills required, including, but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of data types and relational database systems (MS SQL Server).
• Basic knowledge of SharePoint and/or Team Foundation Server preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Establish a positive working relationship with the Business Owners in your assigned areas.
• Identify and interview key stakeholders to develop detailed business rules for assigned projects.
• Ability to quickly become knowledgeable on business processes and system workflows.
• Translate business rules and requirements into Functional Specifications.
• Facilitate meetings with Business, Development, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders when needed, to refine and clarify specifications.
• Assist business owners in developing user acceptance testing plans for projects when needed.
• Manage change in requirements and communicate changes across project team.
• Track progress of assigned projects and be prepared to provide status updates, working with the stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
• Model and foster behaviors that support the Bank's values and corporate culture creating an atmosphere of trust, cooperation, accountability, and dedication to the organization.
• Willingly perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• Travel between Republic Banking facilities is required.
• Occasional out-of-town travel is required.
• Flexible work schedule that will include some evenings and weekends.
• Stay abreast of new developments, best practices, and statutory and regulatory changes.
