First Shift: 8am-4:30pm

As a Cash Processing Teller, you will work with a team to ensure the safe and secure preparation and processing of currency for our customers. In this role you will receive and verify assigned work, inspects deposit bags for evidence of tampering and perform deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions. Responsible for compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations.

Help connect banking institutions and business across the county while enabling them to move forward. Processing tellers work in an efficient and safe manner while meeting deposit productivity standards. This position will work independently in a fast-passed environment without direct supervision or oversight.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct deposit verification and/or change order preparation using specialized counting equipment and procedures

• Complete data entry for all currency transactions

• Process, verify and reconcile inbound and outbound currency transactions

• Complete data entry for all currency transactions for customers

• Count, verify, and report currency inventory daily

• Maintain the highest integrity while managing workflow

• Complete all work assigned during shift and based on time requirements be able to stay beyond normal shift closing to complete said work to ensure customer requirements are always met

Skills Required:

· Must be Detail-oriented with basic Math skills

· Analytical and able to process large amounts of currency

· The ability to collaborate and work well with others

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work flexible hours including extended shift hours so as to meet the requirements of and provide optimum service customers at all times

Qualifications:

· At least 18 years of age

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Cash handling and balancing experience highly desired.

· 1-2 years teller experience preferred

· Work experience in fast paced and hi volume cash handling roles in retail or similar industries also acceptable upon verification review by management.

· Must have strong data entry skills and Ability to perform simple computer data entry

· Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write, and record numbers

FLSA Working conditions:

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Work is generally performed within an open floor space shared by others or inside of a vault area with little or no exposure to outside light

· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds'

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
