The Role
This highly collaborative position will work directly with the Managing Director and Line of Business leads and, as necessary, with the national Marketing team, to organize and manage location-specific Marketing needs. From social media to email to events, inventory, and project coordination, this role encompasses a breadth of responsibility with no two days the same. This role is ideal for the candidate who is a self-starter; someone who is equal parts creative thinker and exacting tactician; who thrives in collaborative, growth-oriented, hospitality-focused environments, but who can also take an idea and run with it; someone who is passionate about transforming vision into reality; and who is motivated by the hot pursuit of goals and their achievement. This role will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with the location Line of Business Leads and National Marketing team to ensure needs are met and goals 3 achieved. Core Job Responsibilities
• Digital Media - Collaborate with location team and National Marketing team on day-to-day execution of social media across all channels, act as on-site Marketing representative for community engagement. Management of email calendar, content, and list distribution.
• Content Creation - General content creation for social, email and marketing including photography, video, print, digital, social and more. Production assistance for outsourced creative.
• Project Coordination - Works with Line of Business Leads and Managing Director to identify and request Marketing and/or Creative support from National Marketing team and external Creative Agency as necessary; tracks all projects to successful time and budget completion.
• General Marketing & Administration - Responsible for all location-specific Marketing administration and organization. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, inventory & reordering of marketing supplies, database management and community event support as needed.
Duties
Digital Media
• Collaborate with line of business leads and Marketing team to develop and manage a social media calendar.
• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Work with PR partners and National Team to identify local influencer prospects, identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial partnership and building relationships for long-term community.
• Email list management, content creation and distribution.
• HubSpot software responsibilities: email list management, content scheduling, campaign management, ad tracking and marketing analytics analysis.
Content Creation
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• On-site contact and production assistance for outsourced Creative projects.
• Lead photography ideation and execution across all lines of business as directed by marketing and project needs; management of photoshoots from ideation to execution as required.
• Write channel-appropriate copy for email, social media and other mediums as needed.
• Adjustment to previously created Marketing and Creative pieces as needed. (Dependent upon Adobe Creative Suite experience). General Marketing, Project Coordination and Administration
• Work with Sales Manager and Managing Director to identify local marketing and outreach opportunities for brand exposure and new customer acquisition.
• Event management as needed for local marketing initiatives, including communication with outside vendors, determination of appropriate marketing materials for use, liaising with Line of Business leads for business-specific needs as required.
• Facilitate and develop project requests as needed.
• Traffic management of in-progress projects to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Maintaining the accuracy of the location information database and triggering changes to web/print/digital materials, as necessary.
• Maintenance of on-site marketing material inventory and reordering of supplies as needed.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in Marketing or related field.
• Social Media savvy; passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools.
• Experience with HubSpot software system beneficial, but not required.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in collaboration with others is necessary as is the ability to take initiative and run with a directive or idea.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; the ability to craft messaging to fit audiences.
• Creative-minded individual with the following skills:
- An eye for photography
- A desire to embrace and learn brand standards o Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign & Photoshop a plus, but
not required
- Knowledgeable with technology systems, and advanced MS Office skills.
• Experience in food and beverage or hospitality industry preferred, but not required.
