Description: JOB TITLE: Network Operations Engineer II
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Computer experience/skills connecting to & provisioning equipment. Project management skills in completing milestones, updating trackers, and communicating with multiple stakeholders on projects.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Previous Telecom Carrier experience with multiple systems.
Nokia Routers (7705 and IXRe)
Ericsson Baseband (6630 and 6648)
JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for the proper operation of a large group of Network Elements. Duties in support of interdepartmental objectives, to support the activation of new sites and integration of network hardware and interconnect facilities. Other responsibilities include testing and analyzing network coverage to ensure contiguous communication and network integrity and quality; updating daily logs with site-specific information; composing clear and concise reports for system documentation; and performing activation tasks as required by Local, Regional, Area, Corporate or Regulatory agencies. The Field Eng- Cells is expected to be able to perform his duties with little supervision, and participate in cross-functional projects as scheduled.
Description: The Supplier (SPE) Engineer resources shall meet the following requirements: * The SPE shall have the expertise and knowledge of 5G, LTE / CDMA, network architecture.
* The SPE is able to understand and analyze 5G, LTE/VoLTE, CDMA network KPIs (key performance indicators) and key parameters.
* The SPE has experience with scripting using the ENM (Ericsson Network Management) tool and/or similar tools.
* The SPE is knowledgeable with network design and has the expertise to optimize 5G, LTE/VoLTE, CDMA technologies. Use RF Antenna theory and design principles as required. * The SPE is knowledgeable with 5G network deployment, testing and defining anchors, parameter mapping and validating field measurements.
* The SPE has strong knowledge of KPIs, identifying noise/PIM issues, parameters audits, new features implementation and performance benchmarking.
* The SPE is able to perform field testing, drive testing, walk testing, data collection and analysis, and reviewing network coverage as required.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred. 5 years of experience.
LOGISTICS:
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM 1st shift work 70 % of the time with some flexibility needed on some days may be necessary
