Under the general supervision of the LIS System Director, the Laboratory Systems Trainer will be responsible for providing training for end-users. Supporting instrumentation and laboratory information systems, this individual will be integral to laboratory operations, project support, and the training of team members. Qualifications:

· Need candidates that are comfortable with the Epic EHR, Sunquest lab, Data Innovations Instrument Manager, Telcor QML, and training end-users.

· Epic exposure is a plus.

· Need to know how to work with the point of care instruments (Liat or CVC), how to work in the Sunquest lab system (must know how that works), understanding Sunquest lab and Telcor QML (middleware for point of care)

· Training Nurses and MAs that may be working specimens in the lab and don't know how to use the systems.

Day-to-day:

· Starting on-site but this flexibility for remote moving forward.

· May need to be on-site for busier weeks (would have a heads-up regarding what weeks they needed to be on-site).

· Their main task day-to-day would-be education of the end-users and support around the over the education of this team. Almost at the elbow support and education as questions arise within the team.

· Some of their daily work will be helping to manage the queue of tickets that the team gets, and assigning tickets to different analysts on the team, ensuring that they do not get backlogged, and helping to answer questions the team may have.
