Job description

VisionFirst is a quickly growing locally owned Optometry Practice and we are looking to fill an opening for a Full-Time Optometric Technician/Front Desk position in our Taylorhurst location. We are willing to train the right candidate who wants to provide excellent customer service and grow with our company.

Duties include but are not limited to preparing patients before eye exams by obtaining patient history, chief complaint, medications & allergies. Conducting diagnostic tests, recording & measuring vision, scheduling appointments, general front desk duties, obtaining pre-authorization & other general clinical/clerical office duties.

Candidates must have:

· Strong customer service skills

· Organizational skills

· Computer skills

· Interpersonal & communication skills

· Excellent multi-tasker & enjoy a busy office
