The Business Services Recruiter, under the direction of the Business Services Recruiting Manager, achieves staffing objectives by locating, attracting and directly recruiting a diverse pool of candidates for non-exempt and exempt business services positions as delegated. In this role, the Business Services Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to assess their needs as it applies to full-time placement, job postings, and occasional temporary placement. The recruiter will be charged with filling positions across multiple departments across the US including accounting/finance, IT, marketing, HR, operations, legal support and office support.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Handles full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating and closing candidates.
  • Develops and implements effective and innovative recruiting strategies to attract and source high quality candidates.
  • Drives the recruitment process in order to improve quality, reduce turnover, increase skills match and reduce time to fill.
  • Collaborates with managers in evaluating departmental needs and specific position requirements for positions assigned through an intake meeting. This will include determining the profile for the ideal candidate and the sourcing strategy needed
  • Operates as a recruiting client relationship manager to the business services departments
  • Ensures a current job description, requisition and approval has been completed. In situations where a job description needs to be created or edited, collaborates with the hiring manager
  • Partners with HR compensation analyst to ensure salary ranges and compensation level are both competitive externally, while also resulting in internal equity
  • Identifies and utilizes various recruitment sources to advertise positions, i.e. social media outreach, association websites, targeted job boards, specialized publications and only as necessary search firms. Manage working relationships with vendors and liase with applicants search firms
  • Achieves staffing objectives by directly sourcing active and passive candidates and evaluating those candidates. Review resumes in a timely manner
  • Conduct all phone screenings, assessments, and HR interviews to determine candidate's qualifications and job requirements. Evaluate and present a small pool of vetted qualified candidates to hiring manager
  • Maintain scheduling and calendaring of interviews, generate correspondence, and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and complete documentation of files and online recruitment database
  • Partner with HR Assistants on reference and background checks, education verifications, and client conflicts checks according to firm policy
  • Extend offers to candidates upon the approval of the hiring manager in congruence with firm policies and procedures
  • Communicates regularly and professionally with both hiring managers and candidates, assuring high client service
  • Work closely with Office Administrators, Departmental Directors and Managers in various U.S. locations on recruitment for local open positions
  • Participate in new hire orientations as requested
  • Assist with department status updates and recruitment reports
  • Builds applicant sources by researching, contacting various contacts, using social media and professionally representing the firm's brand in the community to include recruitment events, colleges, professional organizations, job fairs, economic development, and diversity events. Achieves key performance indicators in recruiting including qualified candidates per opening, days to fill, placements, quality of hires, cost per hire, first year turnover rate, diversity, and hiring manager satisfaction

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Demonstrated proficiency using technology to directly source a diverse, proficient candidate pool for identified positions
  • Ability to identify and effectively analyze resumes for content to ensure they meet minimum job requirements
  • Ability to assess skills and identify viable candidates in an interview
  • Knowledge of effective interviewing techniques to extract pertinent information
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Demonstrate excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and provide solid client service to both the internal hiring managers and all candidates
  • Effective client relationship management skills. Ability to build relationships, work as a strong team member and interact with all levels of employees
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are critical
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with little supervision
  • Familiarity with human resources practices and employment laws, including EEO and ADA guidelines
  • Ability to travel to U.S. offices, when needed.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • College degree strongly preferred
  • Three - five years of full cycle exempt, and non-exempt recruiting experience preferred, for a mix of agency and corporate experience including management of multiple high volume roles simultaneously
  • In-depth experience with direct sourcing of candidates through online avenues including LInkedin Recruiter
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and other recruiting tools/applications (viRecruit, LinkedIn, Workday etc.)
  • Experience recruiting for support/corporate functions such as IT, HR, Finance, Legal, and Marketing & Business Development roles preferred
  • Experience within a professional services environment preferred
  • Recruiting agency experience a plus.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to meet and communicate with candidates both in person and through various electronic means such as Skype, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours as needed
  • This is a sedentary role requiring the incumbent to work for several hours at a workstation, communicating both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to occasionally travel to other offices as requested.


HOURS

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. As a salary exempt professional role, must exercise flexibility in working as needed to meet the requirements of the role. For a recruiter, this often involves meeting with candidates outside of the candidate's normal business hours.
