Our ERP team is seeking passionate, self-starting and creative individuals to join our diverse community of smart, fun, wholehearted and engaging people. As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will provide SAP based solutions to manage the customer fulfillment and distribution functions. These solutions are delivered to Genentech's North America Order management, Distribution and Logistics teams within the business.

The candidate will work towards building a trusted partnership with our business team with a passion for technology and innovation. In this role, you will understand strategic drivers and tactical needs to ensure that the team can provide solutions that meet the business need with the necessary stability, usability, and scalability. This exciting role provides opportunities to participate on local and global projects and work directly with business partners to understand key business challenges, develop clear requirements and solution proposals that clearly outline business challenges and goals, influence technology selection based on best fit for purpose

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Liaise with other SAP team members and IT teams to architect complete end to end solutions that optimize operational performance of systems
  • Review, clarify, document, and prioritize requirements
  • Design, build, test and deploy new functionality to meet business requirements
  • Help drive process improvement initiatives to optimize user experience and business understanding of solution
  • Participating in roadmap discussions and vendor assessments


Who you are:
  • Minimum 5+ years SAP ECC configuration experience in MM/SD. With some cross-functional knowledge in other modules such as FICO.
  • BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant business discipline
  • Experience with at least two full life cycle implementations is desirable
  • Business Relationship management and partnering expertise
  • Must be able to work independently, interact with core team members, and be dedicated to drive system improvements without day-to-day supervision
  • Skilled in problem/incident management, SLAs - Service Level Agreements and full lifecycle system support
  • Flexibility to travel nationally & internationally.
