Live and lead by Donaldson's core values - integrity, respect, and commitment - in the Human Resources function at the plant level. This position reports to the Plant Manager and will be a part of a global organization and HR team with opportunity to interact locally, regionally and globally. Our manufacturing facilities in the U.S. make products for our customers around the world, and are critical to meeting our growth targets wherever we sell and distribute our products. Donaldson has also been in existence for almost 100 years, offering great stability.
How you will bring value to Donaldson:
* Leading training initiatives and needs assessments
* Talent Acquisition
* Leveraging talent system in succession management
* Fostering cross training and rotational assignments
* Facilitating the performance management program by developing HR Staff and working with managers on developing their staff
* Facilitating safety and workers' compensation programs
* Compliance/Affirmative Action Plan communication
* Managing employee relations
* Local administration of employee benefits programs
* Development and execution of communication plan to disseminate information to plant employees
* Ensuring accurate and timely records processing (payroll and other HRIS information)
* Managing budget for HR department
* Leading human resource team for location
* Involvement in Operational efficiency leadership (Lean, Six Sigma) and other continuous improvement initiatives
What will make you successful at Donaldson?
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related field; Master's degree preferred
* Minimum of 7 years professional level human resources experience, including managerial experience.
* Relationship skills and influencing abilities.
* Strong leadership skills and results orientation.
* History of partnering to develop constructive solutions to business challenges.
