This role is a member of the NAM AML Program Oversight Team working directly for the managing director but also supporting the broader leadership team. This person will have oversight into the development of short and long term strategic plans and support the execution of functional strategies that align with Citis overall strategic direction for the USCB AML Program as well as facilitate the development of communications and presentations for executive management and other key stakeholders as required. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting strategic initiatives for both short and long term goals as well as proposing recommendations to align business strategy with resource requirements. Participate in overall strategic planning in both current and future vision of AML Program Oversight Team. This includes end to end management of all staffing and resources within AML Program oversight Team.
- Cross-organization coordination and communication to help develop tactical efforts to achieve current plan and longer term initiatives.
- Build and drive routines to ensure tactical plans are on schedule and providing alternatives for unexpected changes in scope or deliverable timelines.
- Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a large compliance program.
- Management of financial forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and analysis in close partnership with Finance team to allow leadership both within and outside of immediate team to make informed business decisions and set key strategic goals and improved report outs of business level key performance indictors (KPIs).
- Coordinate regular leadership meetings (Town Halls, Strategic Planning sessions, etc) to include logistics, presentation materials, and developing agendas and also assisting in the creation and compilation of documents for executive updates and business reviews
- Manage development and execution for all communications across AML business including but not limited to organization announcements (including writing and publishing), employee recognition, career advancement and educational opportunities
- Development of yearly goals for managing director as well as monitoring progress in achieving these goals and objectives and ensuring effective communication of progress as needed
Job Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in financial services industry, experience in the AML, Cards, Retail Banking and/or Compliance space preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively with functional units; ability to navigate a complex organization; to influence and lead people across cultures at a senior level.
- Finely tuned interpersonal and influencing skills in order to build a strong network of subject matter experts, IT partners, business heads, and senior leadership across NAM Card business (Branded Card and CRS), Retail Bank, Compliance, Technology, and Operations.
- Bachelors degree required with advance degree preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project) and Sharepoint.
