Concierge-Receptionist-St. James Place - PRN

Job description

The hours for this job are: PRN (as Needed). Monday through Friday

The Concierge provides key communication between our residents, families, staff and potential residents by receiving and handling outside and inside calls, monitoring the emergency alert screen, and properly directing inquiries. Screens calls and ensures that mail, packages, etc. are properly arranged for delivery; assists residents, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous manner.

Education/Training requirements include a high school diploma or GED; excellent verbal communication skills; basic clerical and computer skills; Previous experience as a receptionist or customer service person and handling a multi-line phone preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, follow and give instruction, listen and exhibit compassion and empathy. Must be able to multi-task and handle busy times at the desk with grace and professionalism. Must have an excellent work ethic and be reliable.

Physical Requirements: Requires being in a sitting position for the majority of the day, with the ability to assist residents and guests as needed.
