Job description

Required:

  • Associates Degree in a related business field. 2 years of banking or data entry experience can be substituted for the degree.
  • Knowledge of lending policies and procedures, and documentation requirements, including underwriting and government agencies.
  • Superior data entry, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and oral communication.
  • Work independently with a high rate of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, solve problems, meet deadlines, and quickly adapt to change.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to assume new responsibilities.

Preferred:

  • Horizon, FDM and/or Encompass system experience.
  • 6 months in loan operations environment.

Job Requirements:

Specific Job Functions:

  • Processes payments, pay off requests, Verification of Mortgage requests, and payoff postings through cancellation
  • Answers and responds to all calls from customers, insurance agents, title companies and branch personnel
  • Performs daily tasks of sorting mail between payments, insurance renewal bills, renewal policies, and other notices
  • Processes and reviews daily escrow transactions, surpluses, shortages and deficiencies
  • Processes request escrow payoffs
  • Processes request to remove escrow requirements
  • Performs required system maintenance as requested
  • Processes transactions for the lending division's funding facility
  • Reviews the Daily UIR/RIP exceptions for decision
  • Monitors Payment exceptions and processes payment corrections
  • Prepares GL Reconcilements and Daily Balance reports for management
  • Works with loan operations involving all aspects of lending, booking and post-closing
  • Assist in the preparation of any reports needed
  • Processes duplicate documentation request
  • Assist management with special projects to ensure task are performed timely and accurately.
  • Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability.
  • Performs other duties as appointed by management.
