Recruiter

Location: Kennebunk, Maine

Duration: 5 months

Description:

Non-Exempt Role
Full Time, Day shift M-F with weekend availability as needed
***This is an onsite role***

This recruiter will be responsible for hourly full time Client positions, not contingent.

The manager is willing to consider someone who is remote half of the week but we do need someone onsite 2-3 days a week to do some of the interviewing and grass roots approach.

We are looking for a multifaceted Recruiter.
This individual will be a hunter, a gifted Recruiter who can create interest and drive talent to Client Incorporated. They will join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. The qualified individual will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork. The person will support the HRM with the overall recruiting strategy for the business. As the Recruiter, they will have thorough knowledge of HR best practices and innovative ideas to get to goal. They should be an excellent communicator ready to make things happen!

Recruiter Responsibilities:
Interact with department heads to identify job openings and prepare job descriptions and requirements
Post job openings advertise for jobs; additional promotion of our employer brand online and offline
Develop talent pipelines for current/future hiring needs
Maintain candidate databases (e.g. via our Applicant Tracking System)
Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
Craft and send recruiting emails
Identify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g. resume database, social media platforms, etc.)
Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks
Communicate with past applicants regarding new job opportunities
Ability to conduct various types of interviews (in person, online, phone)
Find and filter job applicants and performing appropriate step of preemployment
Schedule and conduct interviews
Compile reports on recruitment for HR/Management
Participate in recruitment events, such as career fairs, prepare information packets, and gather information from suitable candidates
Understanding of HR policies and practices
Basic computer skills and knowledge of HR databases and candidate management systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team

Requirements:
Undergraduate degree, preferably in human resources, sciences, business or relevant/prior career experience
Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are essential
Knowledge of employment legislature and practices
Communication skills advanced both verbal and written including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline
Knowledge of HR resources and tools
Strong interpersonal skills are essential to build a strong team environment
Attention to detail and keeping a business mind-set while verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally as essential
English, other languages considered an asset

Preferred:
3 years recruiting in a high-volume environment. Manufacturing recruiting a plus

***Manager is willing to look at candidates a little less qualified or maybe even someone fresh out of college***
