Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Writer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
The mission of the Delivery Assurance Framework is to provide best-in-class service to support the delivery objectives of our internal program stakeholders; and ensure consistent, high quality and timely deliverables to our client. The Technical Editors Manager will coordinate / oversee multiple tasks and deliverables, in conjunction with the Framework Manager and Deputy Framework Manager, to ensure they align with overall business goals and are executed in accordance with program policies and procedures.
This role will require close coordination with the Government and Senior Program Leadership to support the development and maintenance of operational processes and the ability to manage resources to meet contract requirements and maintain budget objectives. In addition to leading a team of direct reports within the Delivery Assurance Framework, the Technical Editors Manager will develop informational papers, proofread deliverables, provide on-time delivery of program deliverables, and provide input to the Award Fee Self-Assessment to assist the Framework Manager in meeting the Framework’s goals and objectives and furthering the team’s mission.
Job Summary:
Review documents for consistency and conformity to Program standards
Work with technical experts and subject matter experts to draft documents
Research, write, edit, and proofread technical data for use in documents
Ensures technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
Respond to Customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Manage contract deliverables against deadlines among the team
Provide status updates to management
Position Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing and presentation
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related field
10 years relevant work experience
Ability to summarize key insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint
Must be able to work in fast paced and agile environment with tight deadlines
Excellent data gathering and analytical skills
Ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others
Physical Requirements:
