RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Alternative Investments Operations Analyst in Baltimore, MD. Key Tasks:

• Alternative Investments Operations Analyst will assist in the review and processing of subscription documents and capital activity of private equity and hedge funds
• Coordinate with fund administrators and internal colleagues to facilitate day-to-day alternative fund capital activity
• Maintain contact with client teams and Portfolio Managers throughout the firm
• As an Alternative Investments Operations Analyst, you will work closely with investment team on new and upcoming investment opportunities
• Work closely with various team members to ensure accuracy of client balances in various systems
• Provide support for the reconciliation of investor accounts and investor data between shadow accounting files, independent administrator files and internal accounting systems

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related course of study
• Experience in fund accounting or operations is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Superior analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong background in math and computer use, ability to do manual calculations
• Superior written and oral communication skills
