Job description

LGX Services is looking for CDL Class A Drivers to join our Amazon linehaul team. A few high-level details of the job include:

All drop-and-hook work, no loading/unloading inventory
No OTR, all work is home-same-day
Drive new Amazon Prime branded tractors (automatics)
Guaranteed work with predictable schedules
3-day work week (3 13-hour shifts per week)
Accrue 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year
Working nights and weekends is required

CDL Drivers Pay & Benefits with LGX Services:

Earn Hourly pay starting at $24/hour
Get full Health Benefits with only a 3-day work week (3 13-hour shifts per week; overtime available but not guaranteed)
Paid Time Off (accrue 80 hours/2 weeks per year)
No OTR routes, all routes are home same day. The majority of the 13-hr shifts will require night driving.
Consistent schedule (drivers will be asked to work three thirteen-hour shifts per week, schedules communicated for the week ahead every Friday)

General Responsibilities:

Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road
Interact in a positive and professional manner with the general public while delivering products to locations.
CDL Driver Requirements:

Must be willing to work nights and weekends
Must have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) (no endorsements required)
Must be at least 21 years old
Must be physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English sufficiently to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records
Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from the garaging location
Must have successfully completed a CMV road test and have been issued a valid certificate of completion
No CDL suspensions or revocations
No failed or refused drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years (this includes DWI's, DUI's and BAC's)
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Clean Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) Report
Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
Have required documents to complete the I-9 work form; must be legally authorized to work in the US and must be able to provide documentation
Ability to work 40 hours a week
Ability to effectively learn and operate a GPS, ELD and other phone apps
