Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Director of Nursing (DON) in our skilled nursing neighborhood.

The Director of Nursing administers the nursing program to maintain standards of resident care, and advises medical staff, department heads, and executive directors on matters related to nursing services. Directs the planning, implementing, and evaluation of the nursing care for residents on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of five years' clinical experience in the field of geriatric healthcare
  • Minimum of two years' management/supervisory experience in long-term care setting
  • Knowledge of principles of nursing care, and Federal and State regulations governing long-term care facilities
