Job description
**Description:**
The mail clerk position maintains the proper distribution and processing of incoming mail. They will be responsible for delivering all mail throughout the campus of 15 buildings. They will also be responsible for sending Fed Ex or UPS packages out with correct labeling. There is data entry involved as they use SAP for all their tracking, but will train on it. There is training involved due to the importance of items being shipped.
Hours: (1) 7:30a-4pm

1. Operate mail service equipment: postage, complex inserts, sorters, bar coders, and fax machines.
2. Serve as liaison for mail service and other departments.
3. Deliver supplies needed for mailing projects.
4. Clean and adjust machines daily.
5. Track and maintain records and logs of mailing.
6. Sort, distribute and collect U.S. Mail, USPS and FedEx mail.
7. Pick up and deliver materials for special mailings.
8. Inventory mailing supplies.
9. Order necessary mailing materials.
