Call me for an interview ASAP: Mardie de la Cruz ; Description: Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Deliver quality secured geometry towards the projects. To solve packaging/geometry issues between different commodities.* Conduct tolerance stack-ups of components and systems, ensuring geometry assurance and repeatability is met.* Propose solutions for complete offer scenario/packaging to meet application and customer requirements.* Discuss strategies with Platform management, and commodities for long term road map of the architecture of his area.* Analyze and propose common solutions that can support all brands to minimize part numbers and maximize common parts (Common Architecture & Shared Technologies).* Maintain awareness of other projects which may impact your current projects or areas of authority.* Give input regarding geometrical matters to stakeholders (Global Manufacturing, Aftermarket, and the commodities (ex. Cab, Chassis, Electrical, Powertrain), from a complete powertrain perspective.* Build geometry verification plan (virtual builds, physical builds B/C, DMU structure)* Show progress and status for all geometry related activities through issue logs.* Identify A-interface impacts and balance project geometrical requirements with platform requirements according to A-interface process whilst reducing diversity if possible.* Drive Digital Mock-Up (DMU structure) deliveries according to DMU logic.EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEMinimum Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering or related field, or 8-12 years of relevant experience in product development projects within the automotive industry.A firm understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing philosophy and applications.Competence in Creo/ProE is preferred but not necessary; experience on a CAD system is beneficial.A degree of experience with tooling and part check/inspection fixtures is beneficial.PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIESAction oriented; Decision quality; Collaborates; Customer focus; Values differences.Must be able to lead and direct the work cross-functionally.Leading multi-disciplinary/cross-functional teams comes easily to you.You should be action oriented and able to make quality decisions on your own, sometimes without all the facts.Collaborating internally and cross-functionally is an everyday occurrence.Working with customer focus is a constant.You will need the ability to persevere through tasks, whilst continually developing yourself and skills.You are a self-starter, and able to work unsupervised.
