What You Will Do

Human Resources Managers are central to day to day operations of our facilities by providing support to management and staff. Our HR Managers work side by side with management and acts as an advocate for staff. Leading the recruiting efforts and handling day to day HR operations are the main functions of the HR Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages various human resources functions and procedures for facility to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
  • Proactively identifies HR issues and offers solutions to ensure a fair, positive and timely resolution
  • Ensures that employee files are compliant with company policy, State and Federal regulations
  • Manages, recommends, implements and provides education on company personnel policies and procedures
  • Performs benefit plan administration
  • Facilitates and/or provides training (including new hire orientation) to employees and management team;
  • Conducts employee relations counseling, employee related investigations, exit interviewing
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports


Requirements

  • Must possess at least 2 years of Human Resources experience
  • At least 1 year of Human Resources experience in a Long Term Care facility is required
  • SHRM certification preferred, but not required
