Job description

he main responsibility of the Client Services Care role is to greet current and potential clients, suppliers and other contractors/consultants and to serve as the initial method of incoming communication. This position is responsible for directing all incoming calls to the correct department/person to accomplish both the client and Knight Dental's needs, and for ensuring that incoming calls receive the attention they require. Activities for this role will include answering all incoming telephone calls in a proper and professional manner and making outgoing telephone calls to doctor(s) when necessary.

A secondary responsibility of the Client Services Care is to assist the Sales and Marketing departments with assigned projects in order to help the departments reach their goals.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES/OBJECTIVES:

The responsibilities of the Client Services Care are as follows:

1. Answer all incoming telephone calls and appropriately assists or forwards callers on a multi-line system. This includes speaking clearly and professionally, and delegating calls to the proper person (CTS, Sales, Marketing, Administration, supervisors, etc.).

2. Keep a detailed log of all daily calls, identifying which department the caller is requesting to speak with in order to monitor incoming calls and department needs.

3. York Dental Lab's local delivery drivers of pick-ups and deliveries that need to be added to their typical routes.

4. Contact proper driver for pick-ups

5. Assist in answering questions relating to registrations, program information, travel arrangements, date and times and payment of all educational sessions sponsored by York Dental Lab to incoming callers. This requires the Client Service Care to be familiar with events hosted or sponsored by York Dental Lab and to keep information nearby.

6. Be familiar with new York Dental Lab Sales, Marketing and Product initiatives in order to direct incoming calls and serve as a source of information when needed.

7. Assist in marketing efforts for the Sales and Marketing Departments as needed and assigned by Supervisor.

8. File records, correspondence, reports, and other documents as required and in accordance with established department procedures.

9. Assist Supervisor with relevant filing as needed and assigned.

10. Performs general administrative/office duties as assigned.

SCOPE AND EXPECTATIONS:

The Clients Services Care interacts daily with Sales, Marketing, Administration, Client Technical Services, Client Services, Production and key laboratory supervisors and directly reports Director of Sales.

KNOW-HOW AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The following skills are essential to the role of Client Services Care:

1. High School Diploma

2. Min 2-year experience with standard office procedures, computers and customer service.

3. Skill in using various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.

4. Job Knowledge: Understands the principles, methods and processes needed to perform the job.

5. Accuracy: Recognize problems, develop plan of attack, and obtain information to correct and institute changes to prevent reoccurrence.

6. Quality of Work: Handles standards amount of work as required by the position.

7. Initiative: Take steps to commence working on task or project without instructions.

8. Communication: Grasps important information when communicated with and provides information in writing or verbally effectively. Keeps co-workers and Supervisor adequately informed about various issues and matters. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

11. Execution: Ability to implement and follow a project through to the end.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
