BROAD FUNCTION:
This position leads and oversees the development and execution of clearly defined marketing strategies and lead generation strategy for all customers (HCP, Consumer and all channels (personal, non-personal, digital) that support business growth and is aligned with our overall corporate direction. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all multi-channel marketing functions to achieve company objectives of sales growth and profitability. This position works closely with marketing operations, external agency Partners, distributors, Field Sales, Education, Product Development, and Finance, and requires strong teamwork, collaboration and alignment of marketing strategies across multiple stakeholders in order to understand business impact and deliver on business objectives.
As a successful hire, you will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company's brands.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develops and leads marketing brand plans across channels aligned with brand strategies and organizational strategic imperatives
- Ensures that the brand strategy is translated in an effective annual tactical plan
- Researching demand for our products and services
- Competitor research
- Oversee a marketing team in the development and implementation of HCP strategies and tactics focused on increasing awareness, activation, and recommendation within the HCP segment
- Oversee marketing communications and lead generation related to advertising, trade shows, seminars and content targeted to HCPs
- Define and execute marketing programs for demand creation including content creation, webinars, email and others as part of an integrated demand generation strategy
- Provide marketing support to distribution channel partners.
- Maintain contact with the field force, attending sales meetings and working with field sales to ensure marketing activities and sales needs are fully aligned
- Development of innovative consumer marketing education
- Identify new opportunities, set objectives, define strategies and resources needed to achieve financial and strategic goals.
- Build and implement innovative tools which would include personal and non personal solutions to enhance customer engagement
- Manage agency of record and other external partners to ensure execution of strategy and business objectives
- Track and manage budgets
- Lead efforts to assess and optimize the marketing mix and resource allocation across teams and identify potential synergies and savings
- Approves campaigns, brand and creative content strategy and measurement of promotional activities
Leadership:
- Leads and motivates a team of marketers
- Leads the cross-functional brand management process including the development of brand positioning, concept development, targeting, segmentation, market research, and other marketing activities to ensure brand success
- Communicates clear goals and objectives throughout the organization to ensure timely and quality results
- Lead by example, must be able to roll up sleeves and contribute directly as well as manage
Requirements:
- BA/BS in business, marketing or relevant field
- 5+ years of previous experience in progressively responsible roles in Marketing, include successful experience in Product/Brand Management. Healthcare or Life Sciences Industry experience preferred
- Experience running a marketing team for minimum of 3 years
- Prior Sales/Sales training experience highly preferred
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple constituencies and projects under tight deadline pressure, and within budget
- Ability to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources to create actionable insights
- Strong desire to be an integral part of a growing business
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to interact and communicate effectively within and across teams and willingness to learn
