JOB SUMMARY:
Lark Hotels is expanding and is seeking an experienced, proactive and thoughtful Content Marketing Manager to join the growing team. The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for guiding and executing the writing, content creation and partnerships for our hotels, restaurants and independent properties.
A large part of the role will be handling the planning and execution of annual and monthly editorial, blog, social, and partner content for our 35+ hotels and properties.
The role will report to the VP of Marketing and Communications. The role is remote, work from home with some travel, preferably location based in the NYC metro area / Boston metro area / New England.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute the annual and monthly content marketing plans for 35+ hotels, restaurants and properties in conjunction with property leads.
- Write, develop and create content and publish across channels for the website, blog, guides, experiences, social media, email marketing, campaigns, partnerships, editorial, etc.
- Create an editorial calendar for each property and execute the content creation.
- Creative development of partner content and experiences, in partnership with local businesses and property managers.
- Manage and update the concierge guides for destinations and hotels.
- Handle guest communications and email marketing.
- Support the Marketing Director with content needs for campaigns.
- Help manage and guide the Marketing Coordinator to ensure consistent and accurate updating of details and content across channels. Guide Marketing Coordinator to support content creation and social media marketing.
- Help develop brand voice, language and style guidelines.
- Working knowledge of SEO, keyword research and page optimization to boost search rankings for Lark properties and destination content.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing, writing, content creation
- Experience in marketing for hotels, hospitality, restaurants, real estate
- Experience in content marketing, editorial, partnerships, social media, email marketing
- Comfortable working with martech platforms, CMS, social media, email marketing, etc.
- Experience with Adobe CC, video editing a plus
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong marketing and sales understanding and intuition.
- Problem solver and a creative thinker.
- Knowledgeable about travel, hospitality trends, destinations
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Role is remote, work from home, with some travel for on-site meetings and property visits.
- Location based: NYC metro area / Boston metro area / New England.
