JOB SUMMARY:
Lark Hotels is expanding and is seeking an experienced, proactive and thoughtful Marketing Director to join the growing team. The Marketing Director is responsible for directing and executing the advertising, promotions and campaigns for our hotels, restaurants and independent properties.
A large part of the role will be handling the planning and execution of annual and monthly marketing plans, and guiding the day-to-day paid media advertising and promotions for 35+ hotels and properties.
The role will report to the VP of Marketing and Communications. The role is remote, work from home with some travel, preferably location based in the NYC metro area / Boston metro area / New England.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide and execute the annual and monthly marketing and advertising plans for 35+ hotels, restaurants and properties.
- Oversee the day-to-day performance and optimization of paid media campaigns including Metasearch, SEM, PPC, Display Ads, Retargeting, Paid Social Ads, etc) to maximize efficiency of budget and drive bookings and traffic to hotel properties and restaurants.
- Manage the paid media agency and work with revenue management and analyst teams to adjust existing or set new specials/packages/promos/campaigns depending on revenue needs and market potential.
- Work with the team to monitor hotel supply and demand to trigger campaigns and adjust budgets and planning. The goal is to drive hotel revenue through ad spend.
- Execute the campaigns, specials and packages.
- Work with the team to optimize and update campaign copy, creative, and landing pages.
- Work with revenue management to update and optimize OTA listings and advertising.
- Support the build out of martech stack and systems with the VP of Marketing.
- Provide regular reporting to the VP of Marketing and executive team. Be capable of communicating results and identifying opportunities.
- Help manage junior team members to ensure accuracy and consistent cadence of content and updates.
- Oversee and guide local field marketing, advertising and promotions efforts in collaboration with local property managers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, paid media advertising / demand generation
- Looking for experience in hotel / real estate marketing and sales
- Experience in managing and optimizing paid media advertising (Metasearch, SEM, PPC, Paid Social, etc)
- Comfortable working with property management systems, revenue platforms, adtech and analytics platforms, etc.
- Strong marketing and sales understanding and intuition.
- Problem solver and a creative thinker.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable about current industry, trends, technology and martech.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, analytics, business
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Role is remote, work from home, with some travel for on-site meetings and property visits.
