Human Resources (HR) Assistant

Description Are a highly-skilled and experienced Human Resources Assistant seeking a long-term position with a growing company? Then you don't want to pass on this opportunity. The candidate's duties will include handling a variety of personnel related administrative tasks while providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. A company in the Beverly, Massachusetts area is looking to hire an HR Assistant. This is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a long-term contract / temporary position.

How you will make an impact

- Organize new employee on-boarding orientation methods

- Research the internet to uncover potential customers

- Maintain employee database documents

- Oversee office and administrative tasks Requirements - Approachable and appropriate interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment

- Past experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

- HR related experience desired

- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

- Microsoft Outlook experience preferred

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word

- Foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) Administration

- Familiar with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)

- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
