*Position Summary*
This position's main task is to sell to current and potential clients as well as maintain and develop good relationship with them. Promotes the company's Hispanic branded meats and cheeses at the customer's locations. Completes sales orders and communicates order requirements using company pricing guidelines and defined delivery schedules. Follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
*Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include but are not limited to: *
• Process orders in person and over the phone in order to sell targeted products.
• Completes the order and scheduling process using a tablet to ensure order is placed properly and customer commitments are communicated.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with store personnel to meet both general and company in-store objectives.
• Obtains proper authorization and signatures from customers for promotional agreements.
• Checks in-store displays for effectiveness to ensure pricing matches current promotions.
• Checks in-store expiration dates to ensure product shelf-life
• Maintains store shelf standards and inventory, through various merchandising strategies, including rotation of products.
• Communicates with the customer to ensure product flow and service and resolves problems quickly.
• Coordinates and sets up advertising and in-store promotions under direction of Market Sales Manager.
• Provides feedback to Sales Management regarding quality of service and delivery.
• Immediately reports accidents or injuries to management.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*
* Fully fluent in English and Spanish
* 3+ years of sales experience (Food products a plus)
* Driver's License which meets company requirements
* Personal vehicle which meets company standards for licensing and insurance
* MVR which meets Bar-S driving standards with review by Human Capital
* Stable job history
* Should be capable of thriving in the competitive markets.
*Physical Requirements*
* Able to sit and drive for a full shift of at least 8 hours
* Able to stand/walk for at least 4 hours
