Business Analyst

Description:

3 months. 100% Remote.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and document business needs
  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, assist in streamlining processes, research various solutions, and work with technical team to implement solutions
  • Research and analyze business functions and system requirements
  • Lead process discovery, re-engineering, improvement, and analysis sessions to identify solutions that are repeatable, efficient, and accelerate value
  • Consult with subject matter experts and project team members to identify and document potential business and technology solutions
  • Identify, manage, and track business and technical needs objectives throughout project lifecycle
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business/technical needs
  • Document needs using textual and visual modeling deliverables
  • Lead testing efforts with functional leads and end users to ensure user stories and requirements are met
  • Promote team building and self-driven skill development through participation in training and mentoring
  • Develops and provides training to end users and other stakeholders
  • Identify and communicate project issues and risks to leadership and suggest resolutions
  • Coordinate tasks with appropriate team members, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Manage day-to-day business interaction and business expectations related to deliverables
  • Create strong relationships with Business Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, Functional Domain Leadership, and other service teams


Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of related BA experience
  • In depth Agile expertise
  • Excellent analytical modeling skills
  • Understanding of business process design/analysis
  • Experience with process design and data flow
  • Experience gathering requirements and design and deploying best practice process solutions
  • Strong facilitation skills with ability to drive toward common solutions
  • Strong IT system and business function documentation skills
  • Experience using Enterprise Data Catalog or relevant tools
  • Understanding of data analytics terminology and concepts
  • Solid analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills with customer focus
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
