Job description

Hingham's Digital Banking Group is looking for a Cash Management Specialist to take responsibility for the Bank's consumer and commercial digital banking products. You will be responsible for delivering and supporting our consumer and business digital banking products, cash management tools, and all of our payments system interfaces, including the Federal Reserve, and the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. You will be the key point of contact for all consumer and business digital banking and payment operations that support our clients and client-facing teams, including our Specialized Deposit Group. Although we are almost 200 years old, we have a small, entrepreneurial team - just under 100 people - and we hold each other to high standards.

The Digital Banking Group plays an important role in our ongoing product development and process improvement efforts, aimed at providing a higher level of service to our customers, and may be responsible for identifying, testing, and delivering new products and services for our customers.


About the Role


Hingham's Digital Banking Group is responsible for the technology infrastructure and business operations that support our client-facing teams, including our Specialized Deposit Groups which serves our largest and most complex commercial clients. We are looking for a strong operator, self-starter, and problem solver who can balance client service with "business building." You will interface with leaders across the business, building a deep understanding of how the Bank operates.


Responsibilities - What You'll Get to Do

  • Partner with our Specialized Deposit Group to provide technology solutions to our largest and most complex commercial clients - including account setup and onboarding existing customers for new products
  • Assist our commercial clients with payment solutions such as wires, ACH, RDC, positive pay and bill pay - including set-up,training and ongoing product support.
  • Support our client-facing teams with consumer digital and payment solutions including digital banking, mobile banking, mobile deposit and bill pay.
  • Resolve complex client issues related to the various digital banking and payment tools, serving as the escalation point with vendors and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to develop or modify existing workflows to deliver faster, higher-quality service to customers consistent with our broader risk limits
  • Product
  • Assist in defining or enhancing product strategies for digital and payment technologies to improve client experience and/or processing efficiencies related to digital banking and payment operations.
  • Manage the digital banking and payment business, supporting business metrics and indicators for digital services including but not limited to usage and fraud monitoring
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing assessment of operational policy and procedures, adjusting as needed in response to operational or regulatory changes
  • Ability to manage incidents in terms of incident identification, scope assessment, solution analysis, remediation and communication efforts to client, internal teams and vendors through to resolution.
  • Facilitate dialogue across functional areas and management levels.


Requirements


Successful candidates will have in-depth knowledge and service experience with digital banking and electronic payment systems. Candidates will also demonstrate extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations governing payment processing, including but not limited to Regulation E, OFAC, and NACHA Operating Rules.
