RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a Geneva Business Systems Analyst to join the Fixed Income team. This is a most in-office job, with exceptional compensation and best in the city benefits. Summary: In this role as a Geneva Business Systems Analyst, there will be a particular focus on the core Geneva Accounting system. This team focuses on analyzing and leveraging internal and external data sources, to build state-of-the-art systems that give competitive advantage to the firm's investment professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with various business team members, and learn about the investment management process from some of best and highly respected investment professionals in the industry.

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or similar
• Master's degree with concentration in Finance, Technology or Analytics is preferred
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong accounting background and excellent understanding of accounting principles and policies preferred
• Experience with Fixed Income securities & Portfolio Management concepts preferred
• Experience with a functionally diverse, and informed user base that demands high quality solutions
• Ability to perform various roles (e.g., business analyst, systems analyst, data analyst, tester)
• History of developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines within an Agile environment
• Must be analytical and detail-oriented yet, able to conceptualize end-state solutions and have the ability to gather key insights from quantitative and qualitative data
• Understanding of Geneva accounting platform to include, journal entry results, report run analysis to assist business, as well as suggested workflows to change/improve processes
• Ability to leverage accounting knowledge to write reports using Geneva report scripting language (RSL)
• Experience with Geneva RSL/RDL formats
• Experience with deploying and supporting Geneva platform a major plus
• Understanding of beginning to end position lifecycle with emphasis on bank loan and fixed income processing
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in Geneva via Linux OS
• Skilled in managing business requirements through the development lifecycle
