CFS has paired with a well-known state education entity seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team.

About the Organization:

• This is one of the largest state colleges in the Boston area, offering over 100 academic programs
• The organization is committed to accessibility, with most students working part-time or full-time while attending school
• This position is on a team of 4, working collaboratively together while having individually assigned departments

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

• Processing payroll for 500+ employees based on assigned departments
• Coordinating with the MA Commonwealth office in regards to compliance
• Maintaining electronic employee files for payroll purposes
• Tracking any payroll changes

Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist:

• 1+ years' experience in an HR/payroll role
• Associate's degree or experience equivalent
• Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus but not required
