Job description

HR Recruiting Assistant- Boston MA

A leading hedge fund located in Boston MA is looking for an HR Recruiting Assistant to join their team. As the HR Recruiting Assistant, you will assist with a wide range of talent acquisition, employee engagement, DEI initiatives, general HR matters. Responsibilities

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in their recruitment strategy and meet current, projected, and future staffing needs
  • Assist with opening/closing requisitions of each position, schedule interviews
  • Enhance candidate experience
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure accurate record keeping of all required requisition, recruiting and data analysis reports
  • Post/remove posting from job boards
  • Coordinate travel for candidates and employees
  • Assist with planning company events
  • Coordinate the summer internship recruiting process
  • Coordinate campus recruiting events and create relationships with career centers and student groups
  • Act as the point of contact for vendors (LinkedIn, ATS, staffing agencies)
  • Produce reports for the recruiting and HR departments
  • Assist with candidate pre-hire and new hire paperwork to ensure it is properly completed and routed
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and deliver quality, error free work
  • Proficiency in MS Office including, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of ATS systems and campus recruiting systems preferred (Handshake, Simplicity, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, ability to take initiative and have a proactive approach
