Job Summary:
Act as a liaison between the IT department and business systems user community working on a variety of challenging projects. Coordinate with development team and consultants to deliver enhancements and bug fixes. Responsible to work with subject matter experts and user community to define, document, plan, train, execute, and test business systems projects. Provide coaching, training and assist functional experts and user community on business systems capability, explore new features that support Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) roll outs. This includes data mining, analysis, reporting tools, current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and related 3rd party integration.
Job Model: Fully Remote
All fully remote positions will require you to travel on site 2-4 times per month depending upon business needs at your own expense.
Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.
On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities:
• Lead in-house user groups to monitor system changes, enhancements and improvements.
• Work closely with the business leaders to identify business requirements and then translate into technical specifications
• Review, analyze and create documentation of business systems and user needs including workflow and program functions
• Coordinate and perform the testing of configuration or programming changes
• Lead deployment and maintenance of ERP system functionality and business intelligence/reporting strategy to increase business productivity, reporting
• Develop detailed test scripts, unit test programming changes and generate use case scenarios
• Gather user requirements, recommend and implement solutions for current ERP or other 3rd party business systems.
• Provide ERP and reporting tools, data access, and application interface.
• Support current ERP integration with other systems.
• Resolve helpdesk issues and prevent future recurrence.
• Assist with system design, configuration and implementation at company offices around the globe.
• Active participation in applicable user groups, seminars and conferences.
• Work to understand business functional needs and develop business acumen over time.
Complexity of Duties:
• Works with minimum supervision, decisions are made based on pre-established policies and procedures by ERP Manager.
• Work flexible hours, outside standard business hours, as required, to apply system maintenance, upgrades or to perform project implementation activities. At times more than a typical 40 hour week, as required, to ensure on-time delivery or to respond to critical business needs.
• Special instructions given for new assignments.
• 25% international travel as necessary
• Higher level of authority necessary when working beyond semi-routine complexity.
Education and/or Experience:
• Education and Certifications
· Bachelor's degree, or must be actively enrolled in an education program to complete a bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering or equivalent, preferred. Business Analyst or Microsoft Certifications or advanced studies is a plus
• Experience
· 8+ year's general business systems experience and participation in 2 complete ERP Life Cycle
· 6+ years of relevant professional work in Information Technology or business systems related project implementation.
· Solid understanding of ERP Systems, 3+ years of Dynamics AX ERP system experience is preferred.
· Demonstrated Strong analytical, verbal and written skills
· Windows, Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, MS Project, TFS).
· 3+ years of experience and knowledge in the following areas
· Business systems/analysis experience
· SQL 2005 and 2008
· Moderate knowledge of building SQL queries or equivalent ERP queries and troubleshooting
· Process design skills and system testing skills, preferred
· Knowledge of Agile methodologies, a plus
· 3+ years of experience and knowledge in the following areas
· Knowledge of Back End functionality and troubleshooting
· Strong Technical Background with an understanding of Data entity relationships is a plus.

• Ability to develop and lead in-house user groups.
• Ability to deal with ambiguous situations or project demands.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
