At Agilent, we understand the importance of making sure laboratory assets and equipment have the safeguards required for our customers to feel secure. Your primary goals as an Enterprise Asset Manager is to build positive relationships with customers and to facilitate the tools they need for their success! Your role is pivotal in providing effective management and deployment of laboratory assets from start to finish, which includes onboarding new equipment and facilitating the end of life process for technology transfers.

You are also responsible for handling and providing oversight of asset management initiatives for Enterprise wide asset management programs at assigned customer sites.

The Asset Manager:

  • Is accountable for the accuracy of client asset data

  • Completes on-demand system updates in customer CMMS systems including Blue Mountain RAM, SAP CRM, etc.

  • Performs periodic verifications of client asset inventories

  • Performs database updates to reflect changes found in quarterly inventory verifications (change, new assets, assets not found)

  • Ensures and maintains the accuracy of asset entitlements and event schedules

  • Engages with Enterprise Program Managers to identify improvements to asset management processes

Job Requirement:

Meet Agilent approved customer/vendor credentialing requirements necessary to gain site access, unless prohibited by law. These requirements vary by customer/vendor and may include, but are not limited to: post-employment background checks, various forms of drug testing, vaccinations, fingerprinting, proof of valid identification, and/or adherence to customer-specific substance abuse programs. Your consent to participate in customer requested screening is a requirement of this position.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (science focus preferred). Bachelor's degree in life sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2 to 5 years of laboratory experience, preferred

  • Experience using CMMS systems. Familiarity with SAP CRM and / or Blue Mountain RAM is an asset

  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
