Medical Technology (MedTech) is part of the Accenture Life Sciences Practice offering a full range of services in Strategy, Consulting, Accenture Interactive, Operations and Technology that help deliver more personalized healthcare and better patient outcomes.
Our Life Sciences practice is evolving rapidly from selling products to delivering value through better patient outcomes. We work with our medical technology, pharmaceutical, biotech distributor and consumer health clients globally to redefine the future of the life sciences industry: combining the latest technology with scientific breakthroughs to revolutionize how medical treatments are discovered, developed and delivered to patients around the world.
The MedTech practice works specifically with Medical Technology companies to develop solutions across the patient's entire healthcare journey.
Who You Are:
A Strategy Professional with MedTech experience in any of the following:
+ Creating business and/or product growth strategies
+ Identifying new offering opportunities and developing appropriate business cases
+ M&A commercial due diligence
+ Business portfolio optimization
+ Developing strategic business partnerships and joint ventures
+ Creating operational strategies aligned to new business strategies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
+ Sell and deliver corporate, product and operational strategy projects
+ Conduct external research and data analysis to support strategic recommendations
+ Help build MedTech specific strategy expertise and capabilities
+ Work with cross-functional client teams to help architect and deliver end to end MedTech business strategies and model transformations
+ Leverage data driven hypotheses and recommendations to support the MedTech Transformation
+ Function as a strategic advisor to clients on end-to-end transformations addressing key business challenges such as New Product Launch, New Distribution Models, Mergers & Acquisitions etc.
+ Collaborate effectively with other Accenture teams to bring the best of Accenture to clients
+ Developing meaningful partnerships with MedTech clients through utilizing interpersonal skills, effective communication, and relationship building
+ Proactively identify ways in which Accenture can better support clients
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications (Required):
+ Undergraduate degree at accredited institution in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance
+ 7+ years experience in Business and product strategy
+ 5+ years Medical Device industry expertise and Medtech experience, either in industry or through business consulting
+ 5+ years Leadership in managing teams
Additional Skills & Qualifications (Preferred):
+ MBA
+ Proven experience leading teams, clients and vendors using your exceptional team building, mentoring, people development and management skills
+ Experience working with Life Sciences Medical Technology executives applying excellent client-facing communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $89,000 - $130,000 and information on benefits offered is here. ()
