Job Description: Job Description. The Program Lead is a member of the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management (MLWM) Field Capacity & Initiatives Team. They are responsible for managing strategic initiatives for MLWM business partners by providing program management support and rigor around project governance and oversight. Project management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading/driving comprehensive planning, implementation, and adoption of change across business, technology, operations, and support functions. Establishing and managing routines and reporting. Organizing and advancing the program/project, ensuring everything is on time, in scope and on budget. Developing project plans and tracking for multiple work streams. Documenting meeting discussions and follow up items and holding the team accountable. Identifying and engaging all key stakeholders. Documenting and managing dependencies across initiatives. Defining and rolling out communications and training plans. Identifying and escalating risks and issues. Identifying gaps and working with teams to produce relevant outcomes/solutions. Required Skills: 5+ years' experience delivering large programs/projects that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications. Ability to communicate clearly and navigate at all levels in the organization with the detail appropriate to the forum and audience. Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels. Risk and compliance focus. Excellent facilitation / presentation skills, experience with large groups and senior leadership. Ability to work in a self-directed manner and take a proactive approach to job responsibilities with a strong sense of urgency. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Desired Skills: PMP/PMI Certification, Agile methodology experience, or Six Sigma certification. Ability to understand, interpret, and track meaningful metrics. Familiarity with the Wealth Management Line of Business.
