Project Manager

Job description

1. Leadership - although this PM will not have any direct reports it is important that they have strong leadership skills as they will be overseeing the on-site work completed by the field technicians

2. Problem Solving - As this is a device deployment Project there may be technical issues, systems issues, or escalations that pop up that the On-Site Project Manager will need to assist with solving or clearly identify the issue to escalate.

3. Communication- the on-site PM will be customer facing and interacting with our stakeholders daily

The top 3 skills/qualities that we'd be looking for in this candidate are:

•Leadership - although this PM will not have any direct reports it is important that they have strong leadership skills as they will be overseeing the on-site work completed by the field technicians as well as providing direction, remediating issues, and escalating to leadership if necessary. We are looking for someone who can take direction but is also confident and a strong leader who can make calls on their own and help to drive the Project to completion with limited direct oversight on-site.

•Problem Solving - we will need somebody who really enjoys problem solving, identifying creative solutions, and who can roll with the punches. As this is a device deployment Project there may be technical issues, systems issues, or escalations that pop up that the On-Site Project Manager will need to assist with solving or clearly identify the issue to escalate to Tanner/myself. It's important that they are comfortable with unknowns and if they have a technical experience to assist them with troubleshooting that would be a bonus.

•Communication - the PM will be responsible for a multitude of deliverables including Status Reporting, asset and inventory reporting, escalations, and Runbooks/SOPs. It is important that they have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Additionally, the on-site PM will be customer facing and interacting with our stakeholders daily. They will also serve as a liaison between the remote leadership team, bringing back any possible opportunities they see on-site for future work to Management. It's important that the on-site PM becomes a trusted resource.

•Bonus: If the PM has experience with any type of inventory/asset management/work order system that would be a plus.
