Job description
Title: Salesforce Administrator Developer
Location: Boston, MA 02116
Duration: 6 months

- As a Salesforce Admin/Developer you will be building and maintaining applications on Salesforce org. We currently uses Salesforce to build applications for various divisions.
- We are looking to expand the power of Salesforce and develop new apps for our business units.
- You will be challenged by a wide variety of projects including legacy database transformation, new custom apps, and more.
- We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders, understand their needs, configure, and customize the platform to meet new/changing business requirements.
- This position will be responsible for ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on all the features and benefits of the system based on various business needs.
- This position will promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, and act as the primary contact and a subject matter expert on complex and/or critical system issues and processes for Salesforce environment.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience building on Salesforce platform
• Hands-on experience defining system architecture, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
• Hands-on experience in administration setup, e.g., managing users, security controls, and data as well as creating roles and profiles
• Experience with Salesforce Third-party tools: Force.com, Force.com Explorer, Data Loader, Apache Ant Excel, Workbench Connector, SOQLXplore, Platform connector (Sandbox, and Production)
• Experience with Salesforce Technology: Apex Language, Salesforce CRM, Classes and Controllers
• Must have extensively worked on: Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, VisualForce Pages / Components, Apex Web Services, Workflow, Approvals and Lightning components
• Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, Visualforce pages and email generation according to application requirements
• Functional knowledge of data integration tools and data flows
• Experience or knowledge integrating Salesforce with different business systems and APIs
• Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards
• Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration capabilities and the ability to recommend best practices and identify areas where custom development is required
• Experience authoring requirements, definition, design, and other related project and system documentation
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
• Experience with Agile methodologies and running projects on Agile
• Ability to communicate with customers and provide consultation on Salesforce solutions
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to give optimal solutions
• Active Salesforce certifications: Admin and Developer
Responsibilities:
• Serve as primary System developer for the Salesforce environments
• Handle administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
• Respond to end user issues, enhancement requests and other administrative needs
• Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
• Manage existing and new integration of applications to Salesforce
• Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
• Effectively act as the liaison between our users and application development team
• Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
• Work with line of business partners to establish suitable processes to support development and change management activities
• Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set and adoption across the organization
• Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code with best practices
• Write test classes for the class that you develop and ensure more than 80% code coverage
• Test bug fixes to make sure they work as per requirements, then deploy them to production
• Take ownership of project work and developing client relationships
