Base salary is commensurate with experience. $85K-$100K+, 20% bonus, 10% profit sharing, 4% 401(k) match and 100% of all health and medical benefits paid for by the firm. Senior Finance Associate:


Responsibilities:


Assisting the finance group with projects requiring research, data compilation, and analysis to support planning and decision making, including P&L forecasts, budgeting etc.


Fund accounting reconciliations, communication with fund administrators and custodians and managing of investor reporting deadlines


Preparation and review of client and internal reporting, including compilation, research, and analysis


Collaborating with members of the finance, performance, and operations teams to improve automation and streamlining of processes and tasks


Identify improvement opportunities in processes and systems


Assisting with audit and compliance requests


Maintaining internal controls and thorough documentation of policies and procedures


Adhere to firm's operational policies, practices, and procedures


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in financial services, alternative investments, asset management or public accounting
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles, practices, and reporting
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel; experience with macros, database queries and database reports preferred
  • Experience with SQL queries preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of and experience with research and data analysis preferred
  • Interest in automation and process improvements preferred
