General Overview
Under the general supervision of the Bulfinch Temporary Service Manager and in partnership with staffing specialists, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for providing support in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, and database management. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator coordinates the new hire remote onboarding process including obtaining required forms, scheduling occupational health and I-9 appointments ensuring completion of all onboarding requirements including background, compliance, reference checks and, set up of systems access. Provides new hire with materials for BFT department orientation and information on temporary employment status, troubleshoots phone calls and general inquiries. Operates as the point-person for staffing specialists with regard to the completion of the onboarding process. Provides general assistance with Kronos scheduling, handles employment verifications and assists other HR staff as needed.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees the Onboarding New Hire Process
o Contacts new hire to inform them of details regarding onboarding including Occupational Health and I-9 appointments and obtains all on-boarding documents.
o Answers questions from pending hires related to onboarding, department orientation and Occupational Health screening
o Assigns and monitors compliance with the necessary documents new hires must complete such as: I-9, CORI and HealthStream Learning
o Confirms that processing is complete by sending notification to the staffing specialist and New Hire Coordinator.
o Corrects errors in hire information (including hire date, appointment dates, pay rate, dept. change, etc.)
o Ensures compliance of various new hire related activities, including CORI, HireRight, I-9, references and Healthstream new hire compliance
o Updates new hire checklist and confirmation new hire file complete for uploading to OnBase electronic file
o Handles Kronos scheduling for newly placed temp staff
• Other Duties
o Assists with PeopleSoft new hire processing, unemployment claims and/or covers front desk when needed or during peak periods/during their absence

Qualifications
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
• 1-3 years' applicable experience in business or academia required
• Experience with Human Resources specifically in talent acquisition preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Preferred
• Proficiency with PeopleSoft, Taleo, Access & kronos
Skills, Abiltiies and Competencies
• Experience with Front-line customer interaction, one-on-one and group instruction
• Ability to work independently with little day-to-day supervision
• Excellent communications abilities written, verbal and public speaking
• Experience handling high volume, multiple tasks and a wide range of customers
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage sensitive situations
